This can help ensure a thorough overall clean and to make sure there isn't any build up of plaque, as this is how cavities can form. Also, to make sure the pockets of your gum line doesn't have any build up as this can lead to gum disease.
The Hygienist will check your dental health situation and a clean will be adapted to meet your needs. Hygienists will focus on removing any plague build up and cleaning and polishing your teeth to help remove staining. Your Hygienist should recommend a treatment plan for you and how often it is recommended for you to see the Hygienist.
